NO PROBLEM... The Tactic receiver will bind with any Tactic radio. Every radio should send a different signal. If your NEW receiver does bind to a radio on the pond other than yours, you can always rebind it to yours. Just make sure everyone elses Tactic radio is turned OFF while binding to your radio.

speaking of binding, I couldn't get my receiver to bind near my computer or anywhere near a Wifi setup. I thought I was going nuts but finally got it to bind at the pond, no where near any Wifi.

Mine bind's just fine near a computer, and wifi... I personally don;t have wifi but three of my neighbors do and I get their signal in my place pretty strong.

Can you use more than one model with the same transmitter and more than one receiver?

Are talking about the $80 radio from tower?
It does not have model memory so you would need to adjust your trims for each different model you run that radio with..

Not sure if I answered your question?

I was talking about the one that comes with the ul. So you just bind all the receviers one at a time then which ever one is on you have to trim for that boat.

I scored two extra receivers in mid March ; just put one in my H&M hydro ; works fine, plenty of range, no antenna & "bound" it within 6 feet of my wifi router for my wifi cellphone with no problems. Can't be beat for $ 24.95

I am still very confused here..not surprising. I thought that all 2.4 ghz systems would only bind to the rx and tx in use, regardless if another similar or exact tx was operating

Within any given brand there really is no limit to the number of receivers that can be bound to a given transmitter. But you can only bind the same brand to the same brand, Futaba-Futaba, etc.

And if you turn all those receivers on at the same time they will all react to the control inputs from the transmitter they are bound to (JR/Spektrum Model Match is the exception).

And in all cases, once a receiver is bound to a certain transmitter it will only "listen" to that transmitter. You can re-bind receivers to other same brand transmitters as many times as you want to do.
                            Don't get me started

From what I've read therein lies the problem. The sr3000 rx have problems with signal skipping over water that the sr3100's (In all 7 of my boats) do not have
