exactly what i was thinking, thanks for giving me the thickness's. the only thing ray was concerned with was shorting the board. you never had any problems with that right.

You may find you need to add some additional thickness... it's going to depend on which FETs your boards have... On some, what I did was add a piece of thin aluminum to them to get them to touch the FETs on both boards. Also, a piece of water-hose over the tubing where it is along-side the ESC will help to space the water-tubes away from the FET boards about the right amount and helps to keep them from slipping fore-aft...
This is all I've used for the past 4-years and have never had a problem. Just take care in the initial setup and you should be fine.Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

It doesn't hurt that I've lost about 20lbs and workout at least 4-times a week now since the last pictures (Oberto clad) were taken...
Being in great shape not only looks better, but it helps you handle the stresses of a raceday MUCH better, including helping you concentrate while driving...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

I was not sure of the weight loss but knew something was very different. Good job.Comment

There is a plate for each copper tube... which also corresponds to the number of FET tops that need to be contacted....... so there are three plates... One between the control board and the top FETS, one in the middle, and one on the bottom...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

I was going to do the same but was not sure if the bottom of the plates (fets) would short anything out? I like the hydra set up with mulitple plates for each layer.
So this can be done okay?Comment

Let me look at my 1/10th scale tonight, which is running a B125 ESC, and maybe take some better pictures so you guys can see what I'm talking about...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA
