    Which prop.

    hello Guys;

    I have converted my miss vegas over to brushless motor and I need to know what prop would I use.The motor is 2075kv 90amp watercooled esc (2) 5600 mah 7.4 volt lipo batteries.With this combo I am not sure which prop would suit this application.This is my first conversion so you could say I am a rookie at this.
    Thanks for your help
    The esc has a 180amp burst rate.The batteries are 30c rating with 45 c burst. Al

    Did you convert the prop shaft to 3/16 or leave the 1/8 shaft?

          Hello there;

          The prop shaft is 1/8 inch.I still have the original prop which I do not think would work for me.I was looking at a Grimracer 42x66, or Octura M440.What do you think about them.
          Thanks
          Al

            They are both good choices, but you'd have to shim them. The Grim has more pitch.

              Could you explain what you mean by shimming it up.I am still new to this hobby and I am learning mroe and more,as long as I ask..... I will be ordering the props from OSE,they have been good to me in the past.
              Thankyou for the info

                You need to put a sleeve in the prop to make it fit the shaft.

                  the Feigao 8XL on 4S works fine with a 42mm prop (Graupner K serie less pitch than the Grimracer), your X-power certainly doesn't have the same efficiency so I would start with 40mm!
