    mis vegas electric

    Hello guys;

    I just finished converting my vegas to brushless.So far all went well.The problem I am having is;when I arm the unit the trigger works backwards.If I bush the trigger forward it stops and when I let go back to neutral position the motor keeps running.Does anyone have any idea as to why this is happening?
    Thanks in advance

    When you ask questions like these, you have to post what equipment you are using.

      that is due to the fact you are using an airplane ESC, there are two ways to fix that, one is the rubber band way (holding the trigger on the brake position) and the other one is using a Pistix.
      Either way you'll get to run it fine.

            Thanks for the great info,do you know where one of them can be latched onto.Am I right when I would guess this esc is for planes.I do have another esc on the way it is a seaking 90amp burst 130 and water cooled so it is made for marine use.
            Its great to be able hook up with someone that can steer ya in the right direction, Thanks Again

                Here are some of my boats,the rio51 is not stock,it has a G2D modified motor from Marine-Specialties it has a walbro big bore carb,intake has been raised,exhaust timing has been lowered,transfer ports widened and the cylinder milled to raise compression.It travels across the water very fast.

                  Al,

                  You might try fiddling with the end points (called EPA or ATV depending on brand) and the neutral. If you have sub-trim on your radio, that might help you some too.

                  If none of that works, the PiStix will be available again in a couple weeks. I have a handful of them on the way to my house for checkout/programming and I'll be returning them to the mfg for selling by the hundreds. Offshore Electrics is one place I know that will have them.

                      Al, Andy is the designer and was the manufacturer of the PiStix and they work great. He recently sold the rights of production to one of the big boys.

                            Hello;
                            I found that it ran much better in rougher water like this.I adjust it to suit the water.
