You may have a 1/4" strut and bushing.
The inside of the bushing is for 1/4" shaft NOT 3/16"

Ok I measured it all up.
The cable is .187.
I have come to the conclusion that I was given the wrong strut, since this is a nitro stinger, and there is no bushing in it. Although, I doubt that a bushing could make up for at least 1mm gap between the cable and strut on both sides.
The stinger has since been changed on the OSE site since I bought it.Comment

Speedmaster doesn't make "electric" hardware. So all their stuff is named nitro or gas.
Inside the stinger is a bushing like this.

Ah ok Steven, I must have been mistaken.
I just remember buying the stinger that I was linked to, and now I can't find it on your site
So all I need now to run this is:
Drive Dog (3/16 Octura?)
Prop nut
Cooling jacket for Neu 1521
8mm to .187 coupler
1/4 tubing
Linkage boots
BEC or Receiver pack (not sure which would be better for what I need)
Can anyone confirm that what I've listed is correct?
I'll be using a DX3S, with the temp sensor on the motor so I can monitor the temps while I run it.Comment
