The way you had it packed there was no chance of that. And I will do a killer paint job on the motor.

I have the XS2 running good now on the aveox 36/30/1.5. The strut is at 12mm neutral on a M545 prop. My etrex won't fit but I am sure it was doing better than 50 mph (80 kph for Andy and Paddy). I will put in the 8XL from Douggie and a turnigy 120 marine now and see how things go. The .062 wire drive works great with this setup. Thanks for all the help so far!

You need a Forerunner Chuck. They are a bit smaller. I have been known to tape mine to the outside and that works just fine until a blow over (3 of them at the bottom of my pond).

I am old enough to remember mph very well. I still convert speed back to mph to give it some relevance in my tiny mind.

Douggies motor will make that thing fly.

You have a lot of fun times ahead of you with that boat. I have had one of mine for about 2 years and I am still squeezing more speed from it. They both give me the same jelly legs that Mr. Krabs does when I pull back hard on the throttle.

They work good ( forerunner's), mine goes everywhere with me. As for the jelly legs Paddy I do not think it is the boats doing that. I heard you nearly got yourself arrested in the womans underwear dept at work last night mate. I NO Paddy's going blind! Ha Ha Ha .
Nice work on the boat Chuck, how does it turn? well I hope as there are two corners involved in this capper unless you are a SAW only person.

Andy the pond (Loch Fembot) is getting too small for the faster boats and had a bit of chop so I couldn't turn at WOT. It is good for testing though as you can easily walk around it to recover a boat if it quits running.

On a side note I found out that Aussie beer doesn't have any bubbles ...
