    driveline question

I am interested in purchasing the .130 flexcable that includes the teflon liner.. the one that needs to be assembled..
the question I have is what strut do I need to make this work? would a 1/4 strut be best? so i could fit the brass stuffing tube inside the front of the strut?
or do I need a 3/16ths? and with that one, would it attach to the brass tube, or just leave a small gap between the tube, and the strut? thanks

For the .130 cable, you'll need to get a piece of 7/32 brass stuffing tube to house the cable. And for the strut, you'll need a 3/16 strut. The 1/4" struts are for larger boats that run .250 flex cable.
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

In my opinion 130 cable are on the lighter side as far as durability. If your running 4s in a 30+ boat look into a .150 cable system.

You can either stretch it a bit, our use some sandpaper, curl up the sandpaper and slide the Teflon in and out of it.
