This means that the KB is better or the Align?

ED here we talk about very important things for our boats and you make jokes with helis?

        How about making a "heli-boat"?

No not at all. It is just simply comparing apples to oranges. If one compares mass to mass the align does quite well with the neu 1515 on 4s. The kb 45 has more mass than a 1521 BUT it is only a 2 pole and the neu is 4 pole so I would think the neu would out perform it especially on 6s and Up.

I am going to use a 60xl align on 4s in my whiplash 20. The motor is 6 pole and is lighter than a 1515. Am using a wire drive with it too. Will be using a cooling coil and a fan for it.

I have a 650l Align ordered. It has a 6mm shaft and a kv of 1220. I am planning to use it with a tranny on 4s for a larger boat. it is 46.3mmx69.9mm so it has a mass very close to the kb45.

A heli-boat? with what? the main rotor as prop and tail rotor as rudder? ho noooooooooooooooooooooo!
I tell you what, it took me more than a year to get my boat fast, it took me a week to fly and just hover with my heli, the heli is so easy to setup compared to a FE boat! I'll keep the boat the way it is and mess around with float on the heli
