Were temps ok? this will also help locate the weak point. I would bet reprogramming the ESC should do the trick - gotta be one of the least fun things next to cleaning out the smell of burnt evidence.

Oh, did you notice, Jeff Wholt is offering, for valued customers, free hair cuts - you might see if he can get you fixed up.

The boat did not go full throtle sounded like half throttle. Reprogram the esc "Auto throttle range" or something like that, when you connect the batts on the esc don't touch anything on the tx. Try the radio in another boat or car to see if works ok

If it's ok I want to jump on with this thread....

I just got my MM today and I am looking to make a mount onto the nitro mount that is in place..
Maybe a 1/8" peice of aluminum cut to fin into the nitro mount and lots of epoxy?
I need to get a shaft. I placed my SV27 shaft into the MM and looked to be a perfect fit? But I do not know for sure?
I'm going to try my SV setup in it first then maybe a 12L or 11L. I would like to get 50mph out of this boat on 4s, and not sure the 12L or 11L would get the job done or do I need to go with a 9XL or 8XL ?

            Thanks

I have checked every single conection and have the tactic and esc programed properly

please check my video and tell me by looking at the boats attitude....do you think that 23mph is about normal for a x442 prop?.......the temps after running were no heat what so ever I have Cg set about perfect at 9 1/2" and it looks to me like its handling perfect....dont forget its doing left hand turns

I installed a m445 prop tonight and will test tomarrow but i'm really thinking its the small x442 prop

I've seen the video...hmm in that video, do u use the turnigy 180A esc?do u use a new battery?because Im also having the same problem, because if your battery not that good, it won't go fast, I've experience already using that esc, even 60A also, why don't u change the cutoff to 2.8v/cell, u'll see the different. Let me know if u have test it already. Hope it helps

I think someone else said this.. It sounds like your motor is not getting full speed?
Are you running your packs in series?
almost sounds like to me its on a 2cell..

I was using two 2s 8000mah batteries that I just took off the titan 33" that I ran the other day that worked fine so its not the batteries

I was using the same new tactic 2.4 system

is it stops raining I will try the m445 prop and two 2s flightpower lipo's today

                          thanks for the input guys

The model's problem is clearly low rpm and the most likely cause is incorrect pack wiring. It could also be the ESC or transmitter programming - I am not familiar with the chinese ESC. A slightly larger prop will not make much difference, the motor is not getting a full 4S.

Confirm again the motor and Kv.

Mr Turner I am allways please when you show up in one of my threads...its kind of lake laying in your death bed and The Doctor showing up

I have thought the same as you ...it doesnt feel like its getting full voltage

the motor is the Castle Neu 2200 kv which has been compared to the Neu 1515/1y
