Nice read and thank you for the time and trouble of providing it. I go to some of the dallas races. Plan to go up to your race this spring too. Allen has sent me an email reminding me of it. I traded Allen a Crackerbox last year and he plans to have it in the water for that race.

      Hi Adrian
well you will need a 3040 or 3060 Lehner or equivalent from Neu as ESC I would take a Schulze 40/160 or YGE 200navy (http://mbp-rc.de) or from Danlion(China) the 200A
Further it is possible to take a gearbox on the above mentioned motors and do a twin Setup ( http://www.wd200-modellbau.de/?Getri...ox:Getriebe_II ) it was don successfully in the Kiton ( MHZ) with a Plettenberg 370/50 A1S.

For the lost Lid give MHZ a call.

      Have Fun

Set up depends on how much you want to spend and how fast you want to go.

If I were setting it up I would likely go with 10S2P or 12S2P depending on what your local rules are on battery power. A Lehner 3080 or Neu 2230 with a Kv that will put you around 25,000 to 30,000 rpm for heat racing, 30,000+ for SAWS. Schulze 40.160WK ESC. Props starting at X460/3 and working up from there.

My 44 inch mono with a Lehner 3080/8 on 10S2P runs in the mid 60 mph range with a 460/3. Run times over 4 minutes with this set up (oval). For SAWS that boat does in the high 70's with a 750 Kv motor and others have taken the same hull into the 80's with higher Kv motors. Run times go down as the motor Kv goes up!!

You can adjust up or down from here based on the desired speed.
          Don't get me started
