    22 inch hydroplane setup

    What would be a good motor and a esc for this boat . I would like to get around 40mph + and how many lipos should I use thanks for looking 22 inch hydroplane setup

    I have a 1/16th shovelnose that has a 3600 kv Ammo motor and uses a Hacker 70 and a 2s lipo with a Octura X430R prop and it is close to 40 cretainly higher than 35. If you used a 3S and a lower KV I think you would be at 40 or slightly above. Boat is 22.5 long

        What about using a hacker 8 L 3000 kv and a 100 amp esc with a x435 prop on 2s

                    Porbably have a whole lot of torque so you would most likely be able to handle a much larger prop than my boat can. My boat uses a X430. Never used one but it could work.

                        Would be worth a try on that outrunner. run it for a short time then bring it back in t check temps
