Jay! Hope you are doing well, I need to give you a call it’s been a while.

Ray, what is the strut you used on the red mini sniper?

Tyler, that is remarkable 500 amps for that n2 deal!

Although I used a high end system, you could easily run in the low 70's with a DF26 and a TP3650 motor with a Castle X8S. If you don't care about class records run a pair of small 3000mAh 4S packs and connect them in series to get 8S which will reduce your current draw. Shoot for a 7D or 8D wind and run a X440 on .150 cable or .078 wire. If you get the attitude trimmed correctly 70+ is achievable.

Motor and cooler is $120, ESC is $215 + $40 for the cooler, batts are $50 each for a good 70C 3300mAh 4S pack. So just under $500 for the power system. Sounds high, but could be a lot more.

That strut was direct from Delta Force as were the trim tabs and rudder. Unfortunately Samuel Chan said he had no more when I asked a couple years ago... Sad face

I cleaned off the anodization and polished it up. This is a picture of the first RTR DF23 I owned and again wish I kept...
