Today was able to take her out for the first time and noticed this. Didnt hit anything and took it easy and noticed it while wiping her down. Thoughts? What should I do? 20191119_165454.jpg20191119_165547.jpgComment

If it were my boat, I would pour a mix of epoxy resin and chopped carbon fiber into both tips to help secure the two hull halves across that portion of the seam. Hopefully the chip is just a defect in the gelcoat at that portion of the hull and not a bad seam joint.Vac-U-Tug Jr (13mph)Comment

Thats a great idea. Thank you fweasel!! im starting to think bad gelcoat. If you read above, the guy I bought the boat from got it from TFL and he had it in the wooden stand and it caused this from pressure. The stand was super tight, I had to sand it down. 593917272(1).jpgComment

Alright gents, my initial plans of a wrap fell through so decided to paint. Go easy, this is my first paint job lol. Went with a last minute color change and some design using color shift paint in purple sunset. I had a little paint bleed in the front from last minute change but I can fix that. What do you all think so far? Decals and clear will be coming soon. Thank you all for your input and help.

Finally got her finished, ready to throw her hardware back in. Reinforced hull with some cf and west systems marine epoxy to include the tips thanks to guidance from everyone here. Not the best paintjob but it's my first boat after the traxxas.
