    you should never use oil just soap a lot of oils will swell rubber just a note. you have to remember not all O ring are made over here some are made over there and are not as good cheep rubber will swell up

      Take a dermal with a cut off wheel . Be carful and cut a line just threw the jacket from the front to rear. Then you can pry it off . If not cut a second cut and it should fall off. Sounds like u tried everything just cut it.

        Thanks - it was definitely getting to that point. I sent it back to Steve at OSE to see if he can get it off, and otherwise cut it away and get a new one on for next season...
