UB, I have a plan for mounting, but I appreciate the concern. I'm guessing that this turn fin will experience somewhere around 4-6 Gs in the turns and I am planning accordingly.

it looks great you guys!
I have a question... how are you going to attach the fin to the hull?
Is the little "tab" on top the place for the screws or are you having
one or two screws further down as well? If you are planning only using
screws on the top tab then be really careful how you are attaching it to the
sponson, such small footprint to hold the fin may cause problems...
too much force on a little area, it'll rip it right off.
Just a thought.
Also, fins are usually sharpened only on the outside.

UB, I was considering fashioning a support. It's either that or tie into booms somehow

Thanks for the plate. I think you should consider making a template of one like this that would work for other riggers and hydros and offer to Steven. You could make some money to fund your boat projects and answer a demand for products like this!

Cool, I'm glad you are considering. From the responses to Steven's announcement regarding new products to the added to the shop, it looks like you would have a list of people who would buy one...or 20, LOL!
