              Rick mate,

Yeah, don't recommend dealing with Mhzusa. Why don't you try getting in touch with Mhz Germany? Might be the route to go. Good luck mate.

Either find an alternate solution for your SV or talk to the Germans, they may be a bit easier to deal with... I was thinking about dealing with them myself.

Let us know what the outcome is,

MHZ USA you guys suck. The reason for this thread ! I lost the stub shaft off my SV27, the loctite let go , it cost me the shaft and a very good prop . I have been trying for about 6 weeks to get myself another one for MHZ , i have bought almost a $1000 worth of gear from them . Do you think they will answer my emails. What a joke!! Anyway i emailed MTC the maker of the powertrimm drives and they where very keen to help me, stub shafts on there way. Thanks guys for trying to help me. bonewar

I’ve always had reasonable success when dealing with MHZ. Yes, there are some things that seem to fall between the cracks, but I’ve never been ripped-off or otherwise disappointed in the final analysis. Yes, some things take time, while others take even more time. Unfortunately, that may be out of their control. They simply get boxes of stuff from Germany. Sometimes what you need is in the box, sometimes it’s not. If it’s not in there, then guess what? You get to wait.

I just got off the phone with Loo over at MHZ. Despite what everybody is saying, he is going out of his way to help me with a hard-to-find, Swiss-made specially-constructed item (2.3 mm flex cable). I know MHZ is guilty of not responding to emails, it happened to me on this item. A short telephone call to them got the ball rolling on this and they are doing what is appropriate to help.

I get the impression that they are just a bit overwhelmed with emails. I highly recommend a telephone call. If you are in the Land of Oz, and trans-continental call are cost-prohibitive, may I suggest snail-mail? I haven’t had to resort to that, but I suspect it may get you the personal attention needed.

Lastly, here’s a little secret I received. Only use this option when necessary; otherwise, over-use will dilute its effectiveness. Use the name “Loo” in the subject line of your email. It will go directly to the “main guy” and you should get a timely response. DO NOT abuse this secret, or it won’t work for the rest of us.

You guys should know me by now. If a business treats me badly, I usually declare a jihad against them and do my best to make them lose customers, and hopefully go out of business. I still give MHZ the benefit of the doubt, and continue to do business with them.

If they screw me, you will be the first to know. If they help me out, you will be the first to know.

                    Stay tuned.......

MHZUSA sucks! I have never had any luck buying, or dealing with them! The last 3 scoops I ordered from them arrived used???????? They would not replace them either, they would only allow me to return them. That was the last time I will ever deal with them!!!!!

Well, I have used Loo's name in my correspondence with them, and it got nowhere, other than I got accused of stealing? When one of my order never got shipped from Germany due to the fact that it was discontinued but never updated from their site on MHZUSA. They didn't know till I emailed them inquiring about the part coming from Germany. Then they turned around and said that I have received my full order?! I asked for my refund since the part I ordered was discontinued and they had a cow over that. That's where they accused me of stealing/being dishonest. Go figure. They sure know how to keep track of your money coming in and nothing on your orders going out. MHZUSA you know where to go!!

Never a problem with mhz except over whelming prices. Sorry to hear your trouble Rick. I am the most patient with them knowing they are sometimes slow.

***Also, despite what many say about F.D.M. I have always been able to call him and always get my parts. If he doesnt have stock he will tell you.
