yes, still waiting on the ESC to arrive.
220 Sword fish X with data log...that will tell me if I have any more room for larger prop. Dasaboata wanted to send me 2 props one larger for more top speed....lol
I think he assumes there is room for more amp draw....

Lil, 3 HP / 120amp set up below before the New TP power 8 HP / 220 amp set up

Did you actually make this statement, after you ordered a custom prop??

I ordered it at Dasaboata .
Asked him to send me a prop to match my set up and get the boat up to 70mph+
He doesn't tell you what to buy somewhere else he sells you a prop.
Only thing I don't know now after haveing it in my hand is the rake.

He writes on the side of the hub. those numbers will tell you the Diameter and the pitch.

That prop is probably a 17 degree rake,

                    A 1815 is;
                    1.8 inch diameter
and a 1.5 pitch - this means that you multiply the diameter by 1.5 to get the actual pitch of that prop.

                    1.8 in. X 1.5 = 2.7 inch pitch.

This prop looks like a 17 deg take 45% blade area and is probably an 18 series. Check the top of the prop and it will have numbers on the top. 1814 1815 1817 etc

got to run the New set up. tried every prop I have bought for this boat including 2 props from well known boat racers that came recomeneded to do 70 mph + …..all my props under 48 mm will not move this boat like I want, it will get it up on plane and run 45 to 55 mph but always that takes running it wide open 75% of time.
so , in frustration I threw a 52mm on it to see what would happen. OMG it runs like a Beast now, temps are average(135f , run time is ok, it pulls like a maniac out of the hole and runs up to 60+
I will do m0re testing but this is a blast, 0 to 60 mph is so fast its shocking...…….lol

Good to hear you have a prop that is working for you, did you have a look at the data from the esc?

I am still figuring the data log out.
I have loaded it into my pc and hooked the ESC up to adjust the paremeters but, when I tried to review the data log after running boat, I could not figuire out how to view the data.

Data logging still not working. the pc says "TODO: has stopped working then shuts down program

prop talk" when choosing props, a prop with a total pitch of aprox. 3.03
what is the performance difference if you get there with a X455 or you get there with a 648...?

your going to take longer to get there with a 455 as opposed to the smaller 648. don,t over prop or things may get abit warm.
