    Help! Broken canopy latch!!

Ive found that on undoing the canopy latch on my JOYSWAY SEA RIDER LITE 4 ,the plastic canopy latch has broken and disintegrated, can anyone please advise where i could possibly get a replacement?or if there is anthing else i could use to keep the canopy fastened down , i would prefer metal or rubber rather than more plastic, but willing to try anything really. Its that desperate.

Thanks for the suggestion, but the cost to get this part in the UK is horrendous. Im wondering if its a UNIVERSAL type of fitting whether other makes of same size like helion or volantex might fit , its only a two piece plastic swivel latch and possibly any 17inch boat using similar might do the trick? Maybe helion rivos xs? Or the volantex racent 17 ? Or suchlike its a small part about 4-5 mm diameter.on the shaft part.

The obvious answer is tape which is pretty universal for all boats, but maybe you could make a catch from an unused servo horn with a bolt through it?

Do you think something from this pack may work?

Virtually all UK model shops distribute for ripmax, so your loclal model shop should be able to get one in with no postage costs if so.
