To use turn fins or not...

Okay. I ve seen a bunch of boats with them and many without them ...I will like to know why vees,cats or hydros need them or why not...?

Typically a Cat doesn't need a turn fin, they are mostly stable in turn because of their design. Hydro's normally use them to fight lift on turns, to keep them in the water. Vees can run either way.
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.
