I wanted to share some videos of the finished setup, and runs with the ML Boatworks Formula 357 SR1. I was pleasantly surprised, and the 15+ minute runs times, were even better. The setup is a Leopard 5692, 540kv motor, castle 200a esc, 4s lipo setup with 10800mah of capacity (4s2p), and an x470 prop, cut down to 52mm. The loaded rpm on this is only around 7100rpm, but it is plenty fast! Enjoy, Mike

Now you just need some bigger water to fly the boat lol.

Wow, what a beautiful boat! I did some math on your reported performance and I'm showing only about 38-40A draw on this boat. That Z-Drive doesn't seem to be hitting the efficiency at all! Turning it slow was a good play. Thanks for sharing!

well its definetly no where near the 50 mph mark , looks like around 10 to 15 mph yes scale speed. good run time though.

Yeah, its not 50mph by a long shot, when i had a larger prop, and 8s, with an 810kv motor, it was trying to go way faster than 50mph, but the hull design wont do it. When i ran it, not my nephews,it was in the 25mph range...plenty for a boat like this. Ment to look real, not race...ML boatworks has other boats for racing, haha

Oh yeah I get it, it's a cruiser, not a racer. I've never ran an I/O drive, but I'm sure they are limited in power input compared straight flex cables. This is a looker, and she struts her stuff very well! I would love the run time
