For a NiMH-powered mono it is hard to beat the Titan 29. It runs great as an LSO racer due to its generous lift and great handling, yet can be heated up with LiPos and a BL motor and still be fast and stable. Several of the other hulls will be slower than the Titan as long as you are limited to NiMH power, and the Titan handles better than most. It is speed-limited to the low/mid-40s, although adding weight can extend that speed somewhat. You won't get quite that fast with NiMH cells in a sport setup anyway. Aeromarine quality is more consistant than some of the Asian and vacuum hulls too.

Which hull would be best for a lipo mono to get into the 50s mph. I know its alot about personal preference, just looking for an expert opinion.
Hey Norman or anyone else with a Titan 29,
Great looking Titan, I just got one and am researching set ups. I can't really see how you set up the strut/rudder - could you post a nice rear view? How far from the transom is your motor? Where did you find COG ended up being best? Any tips before I start drilling holes? did you go with a flex cable or wire drive? How deep should the rudder extend below the bottom of the hull?
