      You will still need to know for certain what the motor Kv is. The quote given sounds generic, not specific to your build. Just slide off the water jacket or contact Chris and find out for sure, otherwise as stated above you could have big problems including burning up your electronics with the wrong voltage/prop.

            Then its an 8S motor....so your batteries get connected in series.

              Thank you so much Doby. Here are pics of out going plugs from boat male and female. I wanted to know why in Lipo the male plug is covered with yellow shrink wrap? Is it just to protect it when shipping?

                    You could add extra heat shrink to the female. if you do 4 or 5 layers and overhang it a little after the second layer it will make it much safer.

                    *There will be a VERY big spark when you connect batteries. Either be ready for it or use a spark suppressor. A 30Ohm, 1/2 watt resistor works.
