Wow, your really going for it.
I like the H&M design, I have one for a Hydro2 myself, but they are built heavily, and the smaller the boat the bigger a disadvantage that is, so I would advise against it, this and this are 2 of the best riggers freely available at the moment.
I know nothing about the Jetti Duplex, it looks sexy and fully featured, I would imaging it has a top notch RF link, but I would research its transmission protocol before spending that much, and make sure it is constantly randomly hopping and utilising the whole band, like Futaba FASST, Multiplex/Hitec and FrSky do and has a low minimum receiver voltage (2.6v FASST and FrSky, 3.2v Multiplex/Hitec, Spektrums 3.5v has been problematic for some), a fast relink is good too, it is not a safety or security issue but if you get into Monos or Ecos (little FE multiboats) that can dive from time to time, watching your competitors wizz past while your radio rearms would get old quickly.
The MGM LiPos are not suitable, there are no 4500mAh, nothing in between 4000 and 5000, so in Electra you would be giving away 12% power going with 4000, and they are overweight and couldn't be used at all abroad, their 3200mAh are 280g the biggest legal internationally, so you'd be giving away huge power compared to Redzone 4800.
Can you link me to the LMT Viper? I know LMT, and I know Tenshock viper, but not LMT Viper. for what it is worth I run a Mega Motors 16/15/3 3000kv weighing 72g. What is the reason for 2s? it is a tiny difference, but with the lower currents on 3s you waste less energy heating the wires up. there is also more battery choice, the only competitive 110g 2s battery is the Redzone 2650mAh. Prop would be about 30mm, 1.4 pitch, 2 blades.
Hydro 1, you could do a 1920,and I have seen them running very well, but a 1530/8 on 3s spinning a 2 blade 36mm prop is more typical. Hydro1 is 2s-3s only, running 4s would make it a very small Hydro2.
I like to run an ESC rated for at least double the average current. Divide your battery's mAh by 100 to get your average current.Paul Upton-Taylor, Greased Weasel Racing.Comment

yes sorry i meant tenshock yes on viper .
So the two hulls are no good ? sorry dont fully understand your first part probably me ?
I would like to use the HYdro mini mi For HYdro mini class and the Dr evil for hydro 1 ?
2s in the mini
and yes i see , so for hydro 1 i will run 3s , my fault was looking at hydro 2 rules
been researching for 5 days brain kinda fried with numbers lolol , thanks thou paul really appreciate it , will pick yer brains for good setups .
And yes going all outComment

I wouldn't recommend a Tenshock Viper, one of my friends did a datalogged test back to back with a viper and this cheap outrunner, and got more RPM AND less amp draw from the outrunner.
In short, No, they are no good. In long, they have a lot of aero lift to take weight off the sponsons and reduce the wetted area, if built at an good weight they would be blisteringly fast boats in good water, but because they are built heavy they have more weight to start off with and the aero lift just cancels out the extra weight, you get a boat with an average top speed but the extra mass is still there so the acceleration and cornering suffers.Paul Upton-Taylor, Greased Weasel Racing.Comment

Oh and a quick bit of research tells be the Jetti Portocol is simultaniously linking on 2 frequencies like FASST, constantly hopping like FASST, it is not using the all 81 channels in the band like FASST, but 16 channels which is a fair chunk of it and the more than the 10 DSMX and DMSS (the latest and greatest Spektrum and JR protocols), it has a 32bit Guid so better at rejecting false handshakes than FASST, but not as good as DSMX and DMSS with 64bit handshakes. The RXs have a minimum voltage of 3.2v.
You pays your money and takes your chances Futaba FASST will be better at avoiding dirty channel interferance, and JR Sektrum will be better at running with trillions of other TXs in proximity, but it seems like a good middle ground.Paul Upton-Taylor, Greased Weasel Racing.Comment

ok , so im not doing very well
what hulls do you recommend ? for mini and hydro 1 ? did 5 days of research the best i could find other than rasch everything else is made from wood , got to be heavier ?
etti was considered but if im honest i dont like the look build quality didnt look great ?
you can probably guess i would like to compete with the best hulls and internals that i can compete nationally and worlds , and if i don't do well its down to me as a driver and or setup .
what transmitter do you use paul ?
thankyou so much for your imputComment

I just bought new boats last winter, a Rasch for Hydro1 and something very close to the ETTI outcast from Steven De Graff (the outcast's designer) for Mini Hydro.
I was a bit disappointed by the Rasch it is a good design, but significantly heavier than the ones the designer was running, same for ETTI outcast, Steven does sell really light ones but I have not got mine running 100% yet, it has in issue that I have seen an outcast with too, I am sure I will get there in the end, but I think it needs some sponson mods.
Have a look at the ones I linked to in post 17, the Hydro1 is a copy of the Lindeneau Executive2 (I am normally very much against splashes, but Lindeneau stopped making boats several years before these came onto the market), it is a great design and these ones are both very light and with a very good finish, something that is often mutually exclusive. I only recently found out that the Mini Hydro I linked to is commercially available, and if I was buying again that would be my choice, the white boat that lead from start to finish in this video of the 2013 worlds finals is one.
