I run a round bottom in a 32" fightercat and it works great does 70-75mph on 6s. No skeg on the strut and no prop walk but it doesnt turn very well more of a straight line boat. Using a m445. Im sure the flat bottom will work though. I thought flat bottoms were for more transom lift like on hydro and riggers but I could be wrongComment

Start with what you have and if you have any issues you can go to a Speedmaster skeg strut at a later date. Since they are both the same manufacturer its an easy swap out to this: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...os-spds-017-SKNortavlag Bulc
