6 pounds on the hurricane but we're going to lighten it. I have turned one of the drive shafts around soo I guess that is a right spin now it looked ok. I'm going to try the hurricane 44 that's what model boating is all about, maybe it will be badass maybe not but the build will be fun. I'm not trying to break speed records juts have a cool decent running boat.

Set up with 10S2P they weigh in close to 20 lbs. 6S2P would shave off a couple pounds, but still a big, heavy boat with a lot of wetted surface. They normally run a large-format motor like a 2028, big Neu or big Lehner, and 60mm or larger props.
Oh boy, another YouTube expert.......

Had one with a NEU 2230 with an ABC 2614/3 chopper. 68mph all day long. 12s way over 70.

I had a 58 fountain tp5670 on 12s2p 65mph all day. That is not the goal on this boat however. I just hope to have a some what fast boat that has outboards for the cool factor. I'll probably just run 6s on each motor 5000mah I won't have that long of run time but I don't mind changing the bats out .Comment

Well got a new hurricane on the way. soo it's ok to extend the motor leads to get the ESC's away from the rear. How long are we talking 3-4 inches ??Comment

Turning the shaft around will not give you a reversed wind cable. It is still wound the same way. You will need to get a reverse wound flex if you want to run contra rotating props.See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

Think I will play it safe and just spin both counter clock. Don't feel like snapping drive cables everytime I runComment
