    Brilliant.
The details will be an interesting read, when you are legally able to disclose them.

ABSOLUTELY, but the media only shows up the 10% of the crap heads in the country.

properchopper, the range and battery are quite limited on that. It's mostly good for purses etc.

                  Hey Tony and everyone,
I have been researching these trackers.
Most of the better units require a monthly fee, which range from $29 to $59 per month.
I did find 1 high end unit that only requires activation fees....kind of pay as you need to track it.
The rates are $15 for 5 pings or $50 for up to 100 pings for a 1 year period.
Here is the link from the Rocky Mountain Tracker Website. They sell most of the better G3 cell
phone based units and said this is one of the better units despite having no monthly fees.

I will let everyone know how well they work as 2 of them should be coming my way tonight.
One for the truck and 1 for trailer.
Hope this info helps someone else.

Btw....I have also found out that adding the "Device Manager" app from Google to your cell
can turn your Android phone into a tracking device similar to the way the IPhones work.

When I find more useful tips I will try to post them as well.

Ken, Great news! Happy for you that you've recovered most of your boats and hope you have continued success in recovering the rest of your equipment.
I for one will be keeping up with this hopefully to find out how you managed this. As for the perps, hope they get what they deserve.
                    The mystery continues.

Ken my vehicle was equipped with a LoJack from the dealer. It's hidden so well on the vehicle that I don't know where it is. I carry a card with a special code that I give to the police if it's stolen.
They now have portable units, but you would have to keep it charged, and hidden, cuz if the thief sees it, -------
