Ken Haines trailer was stolen in Michigan. This is terrible. So many items that are just not easily replaced.

RC boats stolen.

Tuesday night-Wednesday morning a trailer full of FE boats and gear was stolen from a motel in Romulus, MI on the way to the MI Cup race this weekend. Probably most of you have at least heard of the victim. This is the race that Steve is off to this weekend.

Can we work strategically? I mean X number of people watch one place and the same with all the sites that sell boats? There are tons of us in here we should be able to hit this case hard.

This sort of thing makes me damn angry.

Can anyone post up a picture of that trailer?

Although I'm sure the trailer was searched for, where I live stolen cars etc are often found close by when stolen from certain areas. Crims take them a short distance away and strip what they can in a hurry and leave them dumped in a block of flats etc. Residents in large flat complexes take time (weeks) to realise that car that appeared weeks ago hasn't moved. Just a thought.

Hope the pond scum who took it get their come-uppance.

Here are some pictures of the trailer.
My family is with me on this trip and still safe....
But pretty much everything I own in boats and
equipment has been lost with the theft of the trailer.
10 years of hard work all gone
Wish I could see a silver lining, but I am still trying
to recover emotionally.

Really sorry for your loss, i know how much work and $$$ you had into your mobile race setup. Will keep a lookout on CL around here.

Question, did you have pin locks on your hitch?

Ken, very sorry to hear about this happening to you...it makes me sick when I hear of something like this!! I do work for a well known Trailer parts, sales and service company that sees lots of trailers from alot of different states and I passed this story along with pics to the owner to watch out for this trailer. Might be a shot in the dark, but you never know...
