The Crackerbox hull runs its prop submerged, increasing the load on the motor compared to a surface drive prop. The lower Kv motor will swing the submerged prop without overheating.

Hello John - Apparently you are still not receiving my direct e-mails. Our PayPal credit card processing will not allow me to directly enter your card information, so I have sent you an invoice through their system. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use your credit card. Also, I realized that I do not have your shipping address.... Thanks!
Attention John Zook - Since we seem to have ongoing problems communicating by e-mail, I am copying the message that I just sent to your private e-mail here....
Hi John,
Your Crackerbox kit is one the way by U.S. Postal Service. The tracking number is 9534 6123 8956 6146 1229 20)
Thanks Taylor and my payment is on its way to you via snail mail.LOL...what else could I do? Something got horribly messed up and since I've never experienced this sort of thing before, I don't know what went wrong.
Anyway, anxiously awaiting the kit and I have ordered all the parts for it from OSE.
So far for the past two weeks I've been attempting to make contact with Taylor @Soaring Stuff by phone and e-mail concerning parts that do not appear to fit correctly and so far have received absolutely 0 answers. All my attempts have been ignored. I have no idea what his excuse is and I don't really care.
At this point I'm going to box up this mess and possibly return for a refund.
I spent an additional $300.00 on parts, motor and esc all for nothing.
Seems that Hobby King's customer service philosophy is spreading into America.
I hope this can be fixed for John, he was pretty excited about the boat. I was considering getting one myself, either this CBox or a Dumas SK boat. But the quality of Dumas kits is.....pretty bad. Built my first one in 1963 and wood quality and fit was pretty poor even back then.....
John Zook..... I am sending you a refund check. I don't know what the problem is, as there have been two dozen of these boat kits built successfully, including the very first one that won the provisional electric Crackerbox event at the Nationals in Greeley, Colorado 4 years ago. The entire history of these kits has been well documented on this forum, and on the Rum Runner forum as well. The kits were cut with a CNC router, and I know that the parts are identical because each part was stacked with its mates before packaging. When we cut the second run of kits, we assembled another boat, and that one is presently in Boulder, Colorado....waiting to be painted.
