1/6th wood crackerbox kits finally available again

In 2011 and 2012 1/6th limited Cracker Box had a lot of interest . My friend Taylor Collins built me a cnc router cut prototype kit . It was fast and handled very good for a cracker box . I won several races with it including the 2012 FE Nationals . It was a fun class to race .
Taylor bought enough material to build at least 12 kits . Other projects
took priority , like making a living ,and he didn't get them built.
I got an email saying he has a limited number of kits available .
all the info is available at
    [email protected]
    or his website

I still have my boat and pics how I set it up. Id love to race it again

For anyone interested, here's a link to the discussion and build thread (here on Offshore Electrics) that Rod Sanata did on the first run of the Soaring Stuff 1/6 scale Crackerbox kits. And also, a couple of photos. Two of the kits are already spoken for, so if you think you might be interested, now is the time to order one.

This is one of Rod Sanata's original builds, that I recently bought from Properchopper. I was out at the club lake this morning, trimming it out and playing with CG location. Several guys asked about it, and I told them all about the kit on soaringstuff.com. So far, one has placed an order. I also ordered a kit, to have for a spare in the future. I did not want to let this kit run get away from me.

While waiting for the kit to arrive, I am doing more testing on the used Hot Stuff (from the post above). I'm running an SSS 1620kv motor, left over from a HK Pursuit. Moving up from 38mm props to an Octura M440, really brought it to life. Also moved the 2x2S packs further back. Might be a little too loose at full throttle. Boy does it look great.

Ok, so I'm new at this sorta thing trying to relate the 1/6 scale thing to the size of the boat.
Doesn't appear to be too big....maybe 25" or so?

The finished length of the hull is about 27 inches..... These are a nice size. They're big enough to handle well, but small enough to be easily handled and transported.

              Hope this helps!

Finally got through to Taylor and ordered the boat plus stand. Now I gotta get the parts for it.
One question though is why is the Leo 3650/1650 KV recommended for this boat and not a higher KV such as 2200?

Your question makes no sense. 2200 is not higher than 2650....
