    When I am out running or racing my boats, I now lookout more for Spiders then my turn-fins or rudders.

    This is my left leg three weeks after getting bit.

                    looks infected. my first back surgery got infected, and it damn near killed me. It took several years to get it under control.the doctors told me if it was an arm or leg they would cut it off. Hope thats all better now.

                        Nah it wasn't. That was about a year ago. All is well now. I think it damaged something because I could not bend that fot downward for months after.

                                        That's awesome! I'm further inland in the Baton Rouge area. Sometimes hard to find places to run here. Lucky I have a lake 1/4 mile from me accessible by 4 wheeler
