I went to the Huntsville pond some years ago, and it was a quality event. Now with the pond cleaned up and the drivers stand relocated it should be even better. I encourage anyone interested in fast FE boats to attend a SAW event even if you don't run. You will learn a LOT from the racers about making an FE boat go real fast.

That might be doable for me. I'll have to see if I can get my mono done and tuned in.

Ok, well I take that back. I just asked the wife about going and for some reason I thought Huntsville was at the bottom of Alabama and maybe 3-3.5 hours away. She told me it was 7 hours one way. Not ready to make that trip just yet. I'll have to do it next year when I have some vacation time.

My luck I will lol. I have two spares tho.

Btw, I doubt it will run 100 through the traps but I'm gonna try. My plan is to get it a lil faster just in case. I think I'm gonna need to upgrade to a sf300 lite so the esc will live through the torture I'll be putting it through. The castle I have in there now got a bit warm. Warmer than I like. I could still hold my finger on it, but it was uncomfortable. I'm gonna pull the log on it tonight to see where I'm at. I prefer some overhead plus I can go up in prop too.

Try a knife blade rudder David Hall picked up 5 mph at our last event just switching out rudders.

Thx, my pickup is in my rudder blade tho. I could do a sponson pickup but the servo is now in the way lol. I may have to figure something out because I am still running an unshortened rudder.

Get or make a prop blast to pick up water the prop is throwing out. Not near as much drag.
