If I were you mike, I'd stay out of it, quit feeling like you need to throw people's names out there that you know and are testing the boat (they will vouch for it soon enough without you having to say anything) and let the thing sell itself. Like stated above, let it get into the hands of some known and trusted people, and they will get the word out for you. It's much more convincing when your product praise is coming from third parties instead of yourself. You don't need to defend it, it's going to defend itself, I know it's hard to not get offended when you've got your heart and soul into something but just be patient and be transparent. Answer questions when you need to....other than that...just kick back and let it sell and let people help you get the word out. It's a nice looking design and you've had some positive feedback. Always keep in mind you can't please and impress everyone....You'll see....

    Well said.

While quotes were throw around earlier, here are a few for consideration:
    1- "Self praise is no praise"....Doby, 2015
2- "Humility and actions speak louder than words"....Doby, 2015

I'm not knocking your product, but some of you hype reminds me of used car salespeople on late night TV.

Let your product speak for itself.

A great venue for that would be at the Michigan Cup in 2016, if you can swing it..nothing like putting your product on the water with some of the best oval racers around.

Seriously? I don't really know any of these guys but there was a thread with Bill oxidean a while back and all I remember is I'm not a fan of his at all. I'm not sure if bill and Wilmer are one in the same but if so I'm there with you.

I didn't see his name. I'm just anxious to know how it went. I'm going to try and attend my first event sometime next year but I definitely don't expect to set any records my first time out. I've got an idea of what to expect but it's nothing like attending. I'll try but as with anything it usually never happens the way you expect....especially the first try. I was just anxious to hear how things went for him and how the boat did. He isn't responding for some reason. Hopefully everything went ok.

I'm trying to remember off hand, but I believe that the NAMBA P-Cat record is up in the 120's now... The site still lists Boyd's record of 103 from 2013, but I think that Manuel Wenny went well into the 120's last November when we had the big 5-Day SAW at Legg.

Wilmer (Bill) told me that he had something "special" to blast through the lights with at the next SAW event. Guess this might be it??

I looked up this event and if I read it right it's not a namba event, it's an impba event (correct me if I'm wrong). I also just looked current records and impba p cat is at 78.506. 4 cells limited. Total in the boat. So that limits things a lot. As in namba you can run a twin and run 4s per motor. Which is actually 8s of cells on board the boat (which I feel is unfair) but in impba you can only have 4s worth of cells total in the boat. If I'm wrong, I'll gladly take correction, but this is what I've been told and what I read in the rule book, unless I'm misunderstanding it. If anyone can clarify, please do.

In IMPBA you can run 4s7000P if you can float it. No mah restrictions of any kind.

Not sure how they work twins though. Is a 4s twin an 8s? Sorry for the ignorance.
