    Feigao 580 motor

Feigao are really good for the money, no doubt!
I'd like to see what the new 580 does? must be pretty close to a KB as it is 45x76!

The design of that motor is quite interesting. Joerg was speaking about it on rrr. There is an "original" of that motor that could be used in boats.

Funny a while back I posted a picture of that motor that they sent me as a sample. It wasnt anodized or anything. I asked them to make changes. They never followed up. I guess I have to acquire about it again :-)

                After a bit of cleaning...
the motor on the first picture you posted Steven seems different from the last ones, wires are very thin???
Plus the "new" one are easy serviceable with screws and rotor can be exchanged!

The chrome one is one of the first samples. I suggested to them.....

                  5mm shaft option.
                  thicker wires.
                  4mm mounting screws.
                  Lower kv motors.

I did not think of screwed end bells. Thats a good idea!

The guy who's selling them only have a 2154KV, he proposed me to test one but... 2154rpm/V is to high for our boat, don't know if other KV are available though!

I was thinking a 9 turn on 8s in a 40" or so boat. I will get some on my next order in a couple of weeks.

This should have said 9 turn.

I should have them in 4-6 weeks if they answer all my questions quickly.
