looks good thanx, took awhile to get things lined up but think were on track, also looks like we got more problems. the motor that came with the boat had the steering servo rods way up higher, as you can see this motor has them way lower. I could prolly drill tap for ball links where the motor attaches to the top plate
but really don't wanna go that route + the servo is as low as itll go, so until I can figure something else out am looking for other ideas

What size is the hull? The outboard and motor look a bit small, might be just the picture angle.

hull is 26 in. theirs a forum on HK about this motor, some guys are saying it makes the boat fly, motor is 3000KV........am starting to think should have stayed with the stock O/B but didn't think it was too appealing so went for this one.

Personally I'd think so, looks the size of a mini mono motor, I'd have to think its gonna get hot. But you have it, so try it. Test, learn, it's all fun. Just don't do a really long run first time out, just in case. If it stays cool, then Jackpot if not try to dial it in a bit, then go from there......

I hear ya and am thinking starting out with 2S 35 mm prop if I get lucky try a 3S 30mm prop just for kix and hope nothing gets barbqued

I messed with these things back in 2000 hada P spec and rigger, went pretty darn good but were brushed, they still went good! haven't messed with'em till recently, love the challenge and working with you guyz
