More stable (possible sacrifice of speed), push bow down by lowering strut/prop. For mono hulls this reduces chine-walk. For cats, it could reduce blow-over.
Raise strut/prop to get hull out of water (less stable).

I had a single Daytona. Same hull as a genesis. With a bit of tuning mine was very stable. It does not like the prop in the water. It likes a m445, m545 and m646 (if you have the power). Like stated above you'll need to do some mods and get the strut up about .200 off the table. Here's a video of it while I'm tuning it in.

It is sensitive to changes but .200" off the table will get you very close.

A narrow cat with a single drive on is going to have torque roll when taking off, especially when taking off hard.

On my Genesis, when I was running a 4082 1600kv on 6S with a X642, I could make the boat rollover upside down with a single pull of the throttle. Now that I am running an even torquier 4092 1730kv on 6S, I can sometimes do a full 360 barrel roll!

I run a M445 prop now, and learned how to apply the throttle easier when taking off to reduce the torque roll. Once the boat is on plane, I can apply the throttle fully. Even then, you need to keep an eye on anything that can disrupt the boat's balance and jump off the throttle immediately. Even running across the wake I made earlier can induce the boat to torque roll.

I run that Genesis with a neutral strut and a air dam on the front to reduce blowover.

As for boat recover, I make sure to keep the boat within distance of my trusty fishing pole & tennis ball.

Thanks for the tips ,I did a home made air dam under mine ,I assume an M prop is to run 1/2 out of the water? Just like real boats ,

Here is my airdam, it's the UL-1 carbon fiber airdam sold by Kintec. Just cut to fit and use outdoor double sided tape. It has been on there for 1/2 the year running exclusively in saltwater, no issues with it coming off.

As for the prop, not sure how much of it is out of the water. My OSE 3/16 strut is flush with the strut mount, neutral position if that helps. In the picture below, that's when it was about 1mm down, it now flush, but I wanted you to see what I was talking about.

The "M" Octura props are the "X" version of the prop that have had their ears removed. This helps unload the motor, reduces the torque at lower speeds.

It states on the front of the prop what type it is, either an X445 or M445.
