I swear I saw someone running a boat there in the spring cause it was flipped over. I'm over by the golf course, and we have a retention pond in our back yard.

I'm going to need to order a new cable then, I don't think I have enough length to fit inside the collet.

Ran the 1500kv last night with 42, 45, and 48mm props. Much much cooler, a lot lower max amp draw as well. 22-25mph.

Well, here is the recap of the weekend:

                ProBoat 1500kv & ProBoat 45amp ESC combo, 3s, 5000mah 40C

                Octura S/B Prop 1.6 x 37mm = 20.09mph
                OEM ProBoat Prop 1.34 x 41mm = 21.92mph
                Graupner Carbon Prop 1.4 x 42mm = 21.77mph | 40.25A | 407.50W | Motor Temp 96 | ESC 91 | Batt 87 | Run Time 122 sec | MAH added 689 | Average amps 14.75
                Graupner Carbon Prop 1.4 x 45mm = 24.52mph | 52.66A | 630.80W | Motor Temp 100 | ESC 95 | Batt 95 |
                Graupner Carbon Prop 1.4 x 48mm = 25.81mph | 56.52A | 678.20W | Motor Temp 197 | ESC 95 | Batt 90 | Run Time 60 sec | MAH added 315 | Average amps 15.87

So I'm learning (yay) much lower temps, same top end speed performance aside from torque roll with the larger props. Also would be getting significantly longer run times with the 1500kv lower amp draw set up.

Still seems like I need to investigate the flex cable and make sure I have that set up correctly.
