Better off with 1800kv Aquacraft motor. The 2030 will not turn a very big prop on a boat that heavy. Any idea what the hull only weight was??

If you are going to use what are considered stock motors, you only need one 4S, 5000Mah - 5800Mah pack to run it or a pair of 2S packs in series. A pair of 4S packs 4000-5000mah is too heavy for this motor. I have a nice Juicy outrunner, about 1970kv that would push that boat nicely. I'll lend it to you but, run 4S2P with it. I can even lend you a water cooling plate depending on your motor mount. The motor is this one: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ass_Heli_.html

Shoot! They are on sale!, darn it! Mine is the black Fightercat version but, same motor.

Let me loan you the motor and coupler. see if it works for you. I could pack it to the Can AM.
