The 1500 kv is the safest go with a 445 or 642 prop the 2000 kv would be very fast but you might have to work your way up to that. Move strut all the way up and it must be level when boat is sitting on a table. Prop not pointing up or down.

Well just got some parts in to upgrade to 3/16 drive ,my props are 4mm ,can I drill them? Or will that make them to weak? I can order a prop from OSE just need to know 45mm and 1.6 pitch is that a 445 ? Looking at the chart a 445 is a 1.4 pitch ,which should I get ? My boat just got here right now ,thanks

Well my boat got here and 30 min later the grand kids came to spend the night ,so I won't be working on my boat ,but I do need some help, mounting the servo ,it didn't come with mounting blocks and the servo kinda drops into its groove ,should I rob some mounting blocks off a buggy? There dosent seem to be much room for a servo horn ,so is it short and just clears the hatch? The ESC just use zip ties ,radio box I think I'll mount in the front ,do you stick the wire out of the hull? On my Spartan I just let it lay inside ,

The servo is zip tied into the spot for it gets locked in. Esc is zip tied. Don't use a radio box I mounted a water proof reciever with Velcro right next to servo and I have about 2" of ant sticking out of hull at rear. And yes just a short servo arm is all you need

Pull the Teflon tube out throw it away. New flex shaft fits right in. I never run Teflon tubes.
