I have a 37 inch version. The Lavey bottom in your picture was basically copied from full size boats I used to build. Go to screamandfly.com under rc I had a couple for sale. The picture of the front appears more like an Avenger.
Need info on Deep-V tunnel hull.

Sounds just like the bladerunner ice to me..??. Regardless, I don't think its a hull worth putting much time, effort, or money into building. So its not really worth debating anyway, I was just naming the only hull I know that sounded like what you are looking for.Comment

The Bandit Batboat was developed back in 2003 I believe. It's close to what you're looking for. You would need to extend the vee to the transom.
The plan back then was for it to be an offshore boat. Unfortunately the developer never looked at the rule book before hand. Someone should one kicking around. Can't remember the guys name from Bandit boats but I'll bet he still has the mold.

That was the NAMBA rules. In 2003 the FE rules were kind of a mess. Still not perfect but at least it's all in there. Resources pull down at www.namba.com
I don't think IMPBA has FE offshore at all.
A three point tunnel would technically be a 3 point hydroplane. I think there's actually a picture of this type of bottom right in the book. I'd have to dig down into the book to see if there is some other potential class for it. It would be hydro but it would get killed by the outrigger hulls. There's such a fine line for the rule writers between "inclusive" and "free for all".
I wouldn't worry about either rule book if you're looking to build something like this. Do'n it fer fun is reason enough too.Noisy personComment
