I like it but no flood tube for the drive line like the impulse u think they would have stuck with it as a selling point no one else is doing that

I'd drive it. Definitely going to win some RTR sales away from Traxxas with those spec's. Transom looks very basic/budget-minded. Perhaps it will be offered at or less than the typical Spartan retail?

This boat is going to CRUSH spartan sales. This is what the Spartan should have been at the at $500.00. For the life of me Im still amazed at why people kept buying Spartans when they were plastic and had motors and esc's that fried more than a chicken wings at KFC.

What's the price point ? now if that would just build a bigger cat I also got caught up in the traxxas spartan thing
Thankfully didn't do to many upgrades.

I couldn't agree more! You couldn't give me a spartan.

Let's do some math and some reality check....

The Spartan ranges from $400-$429. It comes with nimh batteries, so that adds no value to most people. Who uses those anymore? Lol.
The Spartan is plastic. That's a major turnoff, reminds me of a nikko boat from Walmart. It puffs batteries. The electronics burn. The motor is a bad choice for that hull. They are known for chine walking in stock form at 45mph (my buddy had one so I seen it with my own eyes) Now the voracity....it's fiberglass. Has a appropriate sized motor (4082 6 pole powerhouse) proven seaking 120 and a better layout. Plus it's faster and has the potential to be even faster MUCH more easily and reliably. In my mind, it's a no brainer. The price isn't expensive for what your getting, trust me.

I want to point out. Chines walking can definitely be tuned out, but that come with experience. When my buddy had his he had no idea what to do to stop it. Prime example of the majority of buyers. Who wants a $400+ boat that is chine walking and flipping at 45mph? So then you have to spend more money to stop it from doing it. You could have just bought a better boat for a few bucks more and be done with it. That's the way I think anyway. May be flawed...but it's the truth.

To be fair, nothing has been proven on this boat yet.

I will agree the Spartan was a big ol flop tho.
As soon as I found out it was plastic I laughed.
Otoh, I've not owned a proboat to date that hasn't had electrical malfunctions.
                            Love the hulls tho.
                            I do hope they've built a winner

In a way i agree, as of yet it is unproven but you also know proboat, their research and development is awesome. I may be on the lookout for a vintage super Hawaii locally but I would probably be happier with a revolt or impulse with their track records. .
