    Ose 6mm red connectors

I picked up some 6mm red ose connectors with the nylon housing. Soldered the bullets to the wires like normal. But when it came time to insert the bullets into the nylon sleeve.....what a chore! I have successfully put two sets on after a pretty good struggle. Anyone else having issues with these?

I use a small punch and tap it with a screwdriver handle or the palm of my hand. They have to fit tight because you don't want them coming out.

Try not to make such a mess of solder all over the outside of the bullet and they should go in easy.
At least my 8mm were that way

Are they supposed to be difficult to put together and pull apart? I feel like I need a pliers just to disconnect them from the batteries....

The 8mm ones aren't. They work awesome.
I dunno maybe the 6mm are different

I kept the solder where it's supposed to be lol. I've decided that I will just use the bullets and in place of the casings some shrink wrap. Less hassle. Thanks for the help tho

That sucks dude. Kinda defeats the purpose of getting the polarized connectors

I decided to give them another shot I think I was putting the bullets in the wrong holes. Previously I had the male connectors in the small side, I will try the female connectors in the small side this time.

As far as I know, the male does go in the small side.

I think I have the same thing from another vender. I soldered the ends on and then tried to push them in from the back. Got a couple in with a punch. Then I found slide the cover on the wire. Solder the end on and pull it in from the front. Snap in place with just a tug on the wire.

I installed a series connection in my spartan, used female side in smaller hold, male in bigger. Punch them in with a flathead screwdriver. Working great so far, just a little tough to disconnect from batteries but that's no big deal.
