I just went thru the calibrate process, I'm guessing I got it right. I have the 220a 6s no lights that I can see though. This thing makes all kinds of beeps when going thru the steps. I will work on the strut after I mess with the settings on the controller. I'm running blind on the settings, I don't have the link or a box yet. Going to order them next week.

It will be so much easier with the box, however, throttle curve is set on the tx, what tx are you using?

I'm using the airtronics mxv I have steering and throtal set at 100/ I did notice if I go to reverse the prop spins at low rpm. I'm guessing it's like a break?

Yes, however, I don't remember the specifics on the SF ESC, I disable the reverse feature---although whether you retain the reverse or not should have no bearing on your forward full throttle calibration.
Try setting your throttle end point adjustment at 120%, another words, crank it up to the max until the tx wouldn't let you, I think usually it's at 120%.

Don't try to bench test full throttle tho, it's not good for the components...

Yes, crank up your FORWARD throttle end point adjustment to max. The Max means the Max on your tx, can be 120% sometimes....

Let it beep 3 times and then two more is what I understand.
I set mine with only max forward and neutral as zero throttle point....

LOL... it's late, I just read that SF doesn't have reverse feature, I am a bit foggy, been a long day, if that's true and you did observe reverse, something is wrong with your programming procedure, you need to re-read and re-do it again. I use this in my JAE 21 FE rigger and it was easily programmed, may be I was just lucky.

Tlandauer has you on the right track. Also the props you are using are too small. The 445 will perform much better. I don't think Mark ever ran it, so you will have to test and make adjustments to dial in the boat. In case you need it, here is a link to the Swordfish manual.

Well last night I think I got the esc calibrated so I will try again this morning once the batts are topped off.

The rocket

So it runs 32 on 4s what can I do to get more speed? It handles well, not one flip yet. I'm open to ideas.
