It looks right, but you really need to measure the whole length of the boat, ( bow to the back of the sponson heels, not the transom) and multiply by .30 ( 30%) , take that number and measure from the heels and that is where it should be your starting point for COG.
Judging from your video, it was riding ok, you just need to have full throttle to see where things are. Chances are that you only need to move your strut up a bit. All that info is for your guide lines only, every boat is a little different, but the general consensus is that the MM likes to have the strut up, at least not flush as shown on your pictures.

Alright i got the new prop today, 47.9 mph i aslo moved up the strut, its as high as it can go without removing it and cuting the slot bigger. Batterys 3 inches from transome. I want more speed. Its super stable

Cool to the touch, but heres another question

i have run the batts two cycles now. They run good! I stoped first run st 4.0 or so and today 3.8 the second run and the third run at around 3.8 when i got home before recharging at 1c i checked the pig tail and one cell was at 3.2 the others where at 3.7 the other battery was at 3.78-9 across the board any ideas?

Ok after charging in storage mode at .5 amp, all cells are reading on both battery's 3.73-3.76 looks like a win to me. I will charge the battery's first thing in the am and go run it again. So if your not supposed to go less then 3.7 why is the lvc 3.0 ?

LVC at 3v is really too low, I set mine at 3.2 if not 3.3.
It is best for the longevity of lipo to have a min. of 20% reserve, I try to have 30% at the end of my run, therefore 3.7v approx.

Your strut looks really good, glad how stable your boat was!
Glad everything worked out for you! Video looks awesome!

I'm guessing that the lvc is at 3.0 that's what the sf manual says is factory setting. I won't know until I get a programmer. Will the programmer show the data log stuff? As stated before, the temps were not hot everything stayed warm to the touch.

So I found somewhere to run the y5 series prop..any thoughts?

I will be ordering some packs next month, should I go with 5 or 6s? At 125each it's a kick in the pants. Also I'm going to be up grading chargers, I use a hi tec auto now, I thought about buying another one, but like the 4 out puts on the nicer model.

I can already tell I want a carbon fiber twin. I liked the cheeta, but I'm thinking 32-36 range. I also like the zonda, but feel for the money there's better products. Or is that me being Nyeve to rtr packages? That's like buying a crawler just to replace everything you just paid for.

I think I would really like to see consistent 55-60 speeds out of the meanmachine.

For a 2200kv motor, you should not run more than 5s, Luck as a Constant ran his MM on 5s and has some awesome video footages. But I am too cheap to buy anything other than 4s, so mine is running 4s2p.
The y547 was a good prop for my hydro, I didn't run that with my MM, but be careful if you run 5s, Luck ran a small prop on 5s, if I remember correctly he ran a m440. With 5s, amp draw is higher and the last thing you need is to swing a bigger prop.
Don't know much about the Zonda. There is a recent discussion on this boat.
You should be able to set your LVC once you have your program box.
No, the program box would not show data log. You need to down load Swordfish software for that to work on your computer. The down loading process can be tricky, make sure you read all the discussions before you embark, this can prepare you in the event if it doesn't work right away.

From today. 4s2p both packs leveled out once I storage charged them this morning I fully charged them and went boating. Got about 8 mins of run time packs were at 3.75 across the cells when I stopped

What do you think? I was just going off of the recommended list.

No sure what is the set up , but IMO the 35mm diameter (Y535) is really small for this boat on 4s. I run M445 and M545 on this hull and I like them both, of course on4s. As I remember, the 5s MM was running a 440 prop.
