    Avanti inspired prototype

After reading about Avanti's build, I decided to Frankenstein one together myself.

A special "Thanks" to Lonewolf for fabricating my "add-on" wing & motor mount!

Here she is, bringing shame to the Oberto name...

As you can see, she is a bit wet. I gave her a test run just before the sun went down. She ran very well, just a bit of tweaking on the prop angle should do the trick.

The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

      Thanks.
Avanti, Is your prop pointed downward? This thing wants to lift off the water at full throttle. I don't know a thing about airboats, so I'm not sure what "pointing the prop downward" will do to it.
The stock rear wing is nut and bolted down & reinforced with wood.

mine is pointed up to keep the back of the boat down (I swapped my motor around to a pusher style though, not a puller like yours is right now) you would need to raise the back of the motor some with your current setup
