Hmmm a bit bitter maybe? Some poor life choices?
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

      What's your problem dude...?
You don't waterproof your stuff. You're gods gift to the hobby. Good for you. Nobody cares.

To the rest of you guys, I agree it's a good reassurance.
I've had boats that were tricky to seal up nice, and at high speeds did crash and take on water due to the hatch coming loose and such.
I see no problem with it.

Why condescend to people who do?
      I don't get it...

        Guys, it is my fault.
I was having fun with the word "hot tub" since someone else got upset with me for having a swimming pool.
Siberianhusky had every right to respond the way he responded because I wasn't clear, anycase, let's call it peace.

it is Sunday, let's give the moderators a peaceful and restful day, shall we??

Too many boats, not enough time...

I'm all good. Cheers, I really could care less if people waterproof or not, if you really think it's a requirement fill your boots.
Just out of curiosity how do you waterproof your batteries?

I'm headed to run some boats. Got two rivercats and a Daytona in my trunk. Wish me luck on good speed and all my electronics not getting wet. Wait. They are waterproof. Well. Ha. Lol

Hmm. I thought they were sealed. Well at any rate water hasn't affected mine. I sank (well the tip was sticking out the water lol) my shockwave last weekend. Battery still works ok.

                    Dang fellas!
Attempt to "waterproof" your electronics if you want to. If not don't. These are toy boats at the end of the day.

Right. So you end up with "everyone is entitled to my opinion".
