I agree if it is too much you can always find a way to tweak it to where it should be.

Also on Douggie's note, that is a handful of power. Make sure you check temps as to not loose any equipment.

Yes I will be very careful about heat. I’ve planned on the 30 sec, bring it in, 30 sec, etc. test to verify we’re all good heat wise, thus I felt I should grab a couple more prop’s until I get the magical one on.

Sadly OSE doesn’t have any x440’s in stock so I guess I’ll have to wait for it as well. Still waiting on the Water Jacket for the 1521 motor anyway (God I hate the wait game).

I got an email from Toysport as well saying that it’s for the ‘prop walk’ so I should be all good there.

What props do you have? I think I have a spare ballanced and sharpened X440, which you can borrow

So far just the x438 and a few other Carbon ones that Steve threw in for me.

I want to get the x440, x442 x640 x642 as well but damn if there not out of stock.

                        Thank you all!

Seriously I must say how FANTASTIC this community is and how very helpful you’ve all been! It’s nice to have some many experienced RC guys looking over a setup and giving advice that only ‘real world experience’ would know.

I’ll be ordering the m440 and the m645 props (and hey they’re in stock!).

I started with an Apache 24 and this is my next boat. Now I’ll go ahead and upgrade my Apache while I wait for parts on my baby

Thanks again guys and if you think of other things I should do/get let me know. When it’s all at the house I’ll make a build thread and take the step by step pictures.

I run an x642 with my 2300kv motor and have hit 50 with good temps. it's a damn shame I dropped the wiredrive and peened over the tip of the blade. I don't know how to fix it if even possible.
