I have run my 1527/1Y on 8s in the Sprintcat, that video sounds about right, it does seem that the prop wasn't quite hooking up all the way, but video is always deceiving.

Heya Carl', not doin' too bad. As well as can be expected from a cyborg anyway ...

I had 19t speed gems arconites on 3s w/ 447's in a villain & that was a chittin' & a gettin' lil' setup I liked. I put another one together with E-Savage motors (14.4v gt-550's) on 4s & it was really respectable, but I'm curious to see what it does with these platinum Millz that I picked up. I dont think it would come close to 60k under load w/ the 2:1 gear drive & the motors in parallel on a single 4s ??...

Ok, well I guess this kv meter is a piece of garbage. The only motors it reads correctly on is two 1515 and one 1518 castle. Everything else, it's way off and erratic. I even checked a brand new lehner motor. I guess I'll pony up and get the good one. Lol

Can you program that kv meter for the # of poles 4 pole 6 pole etc.? that will make a difference. Say that meter is set for 4 pole and you check a 6 pole motor, it's not gonna read right.

What did the lehner read? You did have it on 2 pole for that correct?

Yes, it will go to 60 pole. I even took apart a tp motor I have to make sur ed it's 4 pole. It's not the settings, it's just erratic on all motors I've tested except the 1515's.

Yes sir I'm aware a lehner is two pole. When it reads from about 1800 to 8000, it's just not right. I've checked my connections, moved the signal wire, tried different batteries, used a different throttle control, used the transmitter and receiver for throttle. ..no change. The only thing i have not done yet is use a different esc. I'll try that next.

                            LOL...
I just created an account to buy some older versions of Flysky receiver for a silly experiment.
Alibaba is the biggest on line seller in China and is now listed on Wall Street, that is the only reason I opened an account, but my stuff will not arrive yet, just ordered two days ago.
Knowing you, you can't wait for me to tell you how the transaction went, so I guess you might have to do it at your own risk, I also am careful when it comes to ordering things from sites that I am not familiar with.
                            Good Luck.
Too many boats, not enough time...

Got my bearings in just now. Put the motor together. I don't understand why some motors check out right and some aren't close.... 1860kv 1521 neu with custom 1524 rotor in it.....

What happens on the motors that don't check right is the kv reading swings up and down. Motors that check right, the kv reading is constant.
