shochwave 36 nitro to elec. conversion

Hey guys, I have a shock wave 36 with a nitro eng, (stock). I could never get it running so I gave up till now. I mean the hull has never touched water! I've been reading about a nitro to elec. conversion. Can you help me with the parts needed to convert to elec.? I need motor mounts, motor speed control,batt and whatever else is needed.

Thats a good size hull, I think a 4092 or larger is in order. Also the 37" length would put it in the 6s2p class in my opinion.

the Tp motor is 100mm long , bigger than the leopard 4092.
the boat already has a 3/16 strut/rudder/shaft system on it, use that.
I would get better quality batteries whether you go 4s or 6s

thank you gentlemen for the advice, please if you think of anything I'm all ears! this is a project I want to start soon. I like the motors, speed controller and batt. the both of you suggested, I'm really worried about installing the motor mount. (How?) right now the boat has a nitro eng. mount. Can I somehow use the old mount with the new, or will there be some design work necessary? I don't have a problem designing something, but if there is a easier bolt on solution (that's what I want)

the rubber isolation mount that's in there now would be hard to use for electric.
the mounts we suggested just epoxy to the floor of the boat.

ok , I thought you might say that. The thought is to get the eng. shaft as level with the flex drive shaft as possible. What about tying the eng. and flex shat together, any thoughts on motor coupler. Any better than the other?

thank you guys for the help! I'm worried about installing the motor mount. Never installed a motor mount on a boat before, I'm a bit worried about how and making sure the motors is lined up with the flex cable.

the mount just epoxies to the floor of the boat. you line
up the motor and flex dry first and when you get it lined up
glue it down. the mount is adjustable.
its a lot easier when you have the parts and can
play around with it.
