Still you only have 1 8s pack and that's not enough even though it's 12,000mah. Do you have any pics of your setup?

Thats PLENTY of Mah raptor, I run 10,000 mah in my 60 mph 39" mono, and I ran 10,000 in my 47" mono and hit 70 mph. At 100c those batts are putting out 1200......yes 1200 continuous amps. WAY more than any boat would ever need.

There ya go, you're running 10s 2p and I'm pretty sure that would be 20,000mah

Am I missing something? How is it possible that it is 20,000mah?
Two 5s 5000 in series =10s but still is 5,000mah, now another bank of this and the hook up is parallel, so it is 10s but now mah is doubled to 10,000mah.
Am I wrong? it's hot here in So Cal and was under the 100* sun testing my TFL Round Nose hydro (Libero) with e CNC M642 prop , may be I have too much exposure to the sun.....
Too many boats, not enough time...

You deffinetly got them wired right, I still think if you prop down you'll cure your problem and IMO I'd add two more packs just for run time and extra power.

Well, your lack of Lipo knowledge has exposed your novice status as a boater. I am not going to banter with someone who doesnt even know how to figure battery capacity and voltage based on series and parallel connections, have a nice day sir.

Joshua, that IS series based on your pics

Ok im looking at the octura x450 & x452.And the Prather s225 from OSE ? This is the cure? I know propping down is cheaper. But i still would like dependability and speed.what if i went with the more torque Leopard 56110 950kv would this motor be easier on the electronics?

I think the x452 2 blade would be fine but I always start small and work up. You need to constantly check temps while running. Start with the X450 and go to the X452 if it runs cool on the X450. I try not to run anything hotter than 130/140 deg. some people run hotter.

Im just worried about having another ESC failure. I've put a lot of money into this and haven't really got 2 enjoy it very much I wish my boat was as dependable as my other toysIMG_0262.jpg IMG_0272.jpg
