If the props are angled down then they are submerged. I have owned one before I know what it looks like.

Am I missing something? I always thought the Villain's steerable out drives are set up for surface piercing props, regardless how much of it (them) is (are) under water when the boat is on plane.
How would you define the original Black jack 26 or for that matter the V1 and V2 of the Shockwave 26?
I am not trying to argue but am hoping someone can enlighten me.

That is a very good point Tim :-) , but I am also looking at it from the point of what props work good for a submerged drive retrieval boat, because that's what Travis is asking about.
Ie: puttering across the water off plane & retrieving boats, so the props are submerged and never break the water. I simply commented the x447 & x452's work great for that because my villains also double as retrieval boats :-) .Comment
